Ferncliff Avenue Water Line Replacement

The Hendersonville Water and Sewer Department has recognized an immediate need to replace a water line on Ferncliff Avenue.  Mountain Underground will install a new water line by boring it underground. There may be areas of disturbance to install the boring equipment and we anticipate intermittent traffic delays on Ferncliff Ave. The boring work is planned to be completed on Thurs 8/11 and Friday 8/12 of this week. Water service will not be interrupted during this time. 

Then, beginning Monday 8/15, Hendersonville crews will begin transferring individual homes to the new water line. There will likely be a boil water advisory when we make the connections but the end result should eliminate past issues with the old line.
