The City of Hendersonville is requesting informal bids until 11:00 am on November 3, 2020, for the furnishing of materials, labor, and equipment for the construction of Hebron Pressure Zone Water Improvements. Informal bids may be either delivered to the City of Hendersonville Operations Center, 305 Williams Street, Hendersonville, NC 28792 or emailed to Adam Steurer at asteurer@hvlnc.gov. All Informal bids, whether delivered or emailed, must be received by November 3, at 11:00 am.

 

Generally, the project consists of the installation of approximately 2,075 linear feet of 6-inch and 8-inch diameter ductile iron water main and appurtenances; two master meter vaults and associated piping, and abandonment of an existing water pumping station. Connections to the existing water distribution system will be made at several locations. The project’s intent is to boost pressures and available fire flows in the area.

 

  1. A bid bond or bid deposit is not required.
  2. There will be no pre-bid meeting. Please direct all project-related questions to me, email is preferred.
  3. There will be no public bid opening.

PREQUALIFICATION for French Broad River Intake Pump Station Project

The City of Hendersonville is accepting statements of experience from general contractors to prequalify for bidding on the City of Hendersonville French Broad River Intake and Pumping Station until Friday, November 6, 2020, at 11:00 am. Only Bids submitted by prequalified Contractors/Bidders will be considered. The City is interested in selecting the most highly qualified contractors for prequalification. Information provided in the Prequalification for Bidding Form will be the basis for the evaluation and prequalification of Contractors/Bidders. To ensure that the Prequalification for Bidding Form is given full consideration, each Contractor/Bidder must do the following:


• Read the instructions carefully to make sure they understand the requirements.
• Complete the entire Prequalification for Bidding Form.
• Provide signatures where indicated.
• Do not leave any portion of a form blank; indicate N/A if not applicable.
