Parking

The City of Hendersonville offers convenient and affordable parking options allowing access to the downtown shops, restaurants and events we all know and love. Parking options are available in the City’s new parking deck, nearby surface lots and on-street parking. The City offers free on-street parking on Sundays, weekdays after 7 p.m. and on City holidays.

Parking Enforcement Services, organizationally located within the Hendersonville Police Department, oversees downtown parking management and enforcement. The community can use their ParkMobile App for easy payment options. The parking deck walk-up kiosk, surface lot kiosks and on-street kiosks accept payment via credit card and cash.

ParkMobile has experienced issues with Apple Pay and this method is currently unavailable as a payment option within the ParkMobile app. Please use an alternative payment method until the issue is resolved.

The app still offers a variety of payment options including American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Paypal, JCB and ParkMobile Wallet. The kiosks provide additional payment options including  Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, as well as US coins and dollars ($1, $5, and $10s).

Hurricane Helene Parking Update

Parking Update: No Paid Parking for October

In response to Hurricane Helene, the City of Hendersonville will not enforce paid parking in downtown for the rest of October.

However, safety-related violations will still be enforced, and citations will be issued for all the normal infractions. You'll get a ticket for things like:

  • Double parking
  • Blocking fire hydrants
  • Parking in the opposite direction of traffic flow
  • Parking in crosswalks, loading zones, or fire lanes
  • Handicapped parking infractions

We encourage everyone to support our downtown businesses as they recover!

Also – don't forget about these special event parking reminders:

Thursday, October 17 – Rhythm & Brews
Caswell to Barnwell – No parking after 9am for event setup
Barnwell to Allen – No parking after 1pm for event setup

Thursday, October 31 -  Treat Street Carnival
Allen to 6th Avenue - No parking on Main Street after 12 (noon) for event setup

Permit holders should check their iparq account for information on permits.
