Online Payments

The City of Hendersonville is pleased to announce the New Improved Customer Portal. The portal will allow our customers new options to manage their own utility accounts. New options available to our customers include eBilling, automatic payments, update contact information, and view account history. To access the new portal, you will need to have available a current bill and locate the account and customer number on the top right of the bill. The new account and customer numbers have changed effective 6/1/2020. If you have any questions or need account information, please contact Customer Service at 828-697-3052.


Registration instructions

If your service is scheduled for disconnection all payments must be receipted no later than 5:00 p.m prior to disconnection. Online payments will be posted the following business day. Payments that are made after 5:00 p.m prior to disconnection may be subject to additional charges and disconnection.

COVID-19 Temporary Payment Plan

The City of Hendersonville has established a temporary payment plan for past due utilities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Customers with delinquencies must apply for the temporary payment plan by September 30, 2020, to avoid late fees and disconnection of services. The payment plan will allow customers to pay past due balances through September 30, 2021, in addition to the current bill each month.

Laurel Park Utility Updates

Beginning April 1, 2021, the Town of Laurel Park and the City of Hendersonville will have merged their water systems. The City of Hendersonville will start billing for utility services for Laurel Park customers on April 1. Laurel Park customers will begin receiving mailed bills from the City of Hendersonville in May 2021.

Laurel Park and the City of Hendersonville are working together to make the transition for customers as streamlined as possible. If Laurel Park customers have recurring bank, electronic checks, or ACH payments for the Town of Laurel Park, these payments will need to be changed when their bill is received in May.  Additional information on transferring these payments will be mailed out at a later date.

When visiting the payment window…

  • Do not enter the lobby if you are sick or have felt sick in the last 72 hours
  • Maintain 6 feet of distance from others
  • Follow the markings on the floor to distance yourself when waiting in line
  • Wearing a face covering is required
  • Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer
  • Use ‘no contact’ options whenever possible (online payment / pay-by-phone)
