Online Payments

The City of Hendersonville offers an online Customer Portal. The portal will allow our customers options to manage their own utility accounts. The options available to our customers include eBilling, payments, update contact information, and view account history. To access the portal, you will need to have available a current bill and locate the account and customer number on the top right of the bill. If you have any questions or need account information, please contact Customer Service at 828-697-3052. We do not accept American Express as a form of payment.


If your service is scheduled for disconnection all payments must be receipted no later than 5:00 p.m prior to disconnection. Online payments will be posted the following business day. Payments that are made after 5:00 p.m prior to disconnection may be subject to additional charges and disconnection.

In Person or Mailed Payments 

Drive-thru payment dropbox, first floor dropbox, mail payment, or visit the payment window at City Hall. Do not drop cash in the drop box. For walk in payments, we accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Google and Apple Pay. American Express is not accepted at this time.

Please call (828) 697-3052 option #1 to make a payment over the phone. We do not accept American Express as a form of payment. Customer service representatives cannot process payments over the phone.
