Utility customers may apply for a leak adjustment for leaks that occur on the customer's side of the meter. Adjustments will only be provided based on the current Leak Adjustment Policy. An adjustment may be extended to the customer’s account/property only once every 36 calendar months upon approval. The Leak Adjustment Request Form must be submitted within 45 days after the leak is corrected as determined by City staff. Customers can apply for a leak adjustment by completing the form online, Leak Adjustment Request. We must be able to verify that the abnormal usage has stopped on the account before we can process an adjustment. Please allow 5 business days for review upon receipt of the completed leak form.
All leak adjustment request can be faxed to Customer Service at (828) 692-1510 or emailed to email@example.com. Leak request can also be mailed to 160 Sixth Avenue East, Hendersonville, NC 28792.
