Public Input Meeting - ARP Funding

Tuesday, February 1, 2022

The City of Hendersonville has been awarded $4.5 million in federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) funds.

City Council’s vision is to use ARP dollars to fund transformative projects that address difficult community needs. Before selecting specific projects to fund, City Council wants to hear from the community to help determine priorities.

More information about the American Rescue Plan and a community survey is available at hvlnc.gov/ARP. All City of Hendersonville residents, business owners, property owners, and those who work or access services in the City of Hendersonville are encouraged to provide feedback. The survey will remain open until February 11th at 5:00 pm.

A drop-in public input session has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 1 from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. At 5:30 there will be a short presentation followed by an opportunity for the community to share ideas. The informal listening session will be held at the City Operations Center at 305 Williams Street in Hendersonville. Community members who are unable to complete the online survey are encouraged to attend if they need assistance providing feedback.
