Neighborhood Compatibility Meeting - Landings of Flat Rock

Projects subject to conditional rezoning must undergo a neighborhood compatibility meeting at which the developer and affected property owners and residents can participate in a discussion about the proposed rezoning.

The City of Hendersonville Community Development Department will hold a Neighborhood Compatibility Meeting on the Landings of Flat Rock project on October 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Operations Center located at 305 Williams Street, Hendersonville NC.

The City of Hendersonville is in receipt of an application for a conditional rezoning from Agemark Acquisition LLC.  The applicant is requesting to rezone the subject property, PIN 9588-12-7382 and located at 471 McMurray Road, from Henderson County OI, Office Institutional District to PRD CZD, Planned Residential Development Conditional Zoning District for a one-story, 5 bed, 32,000 sq. ft. assisted living facility and a three-story 95 bed, 85,000 sq. ft. independent living facility.

In compliance with Governor Cooper’s Executive Orders and social distancing guidelines, in-person attendance of the public will be limited as spacing permits.

Participants are asked to give their name and address for the record and space is given to submit written public comment which will be provided to the developer. Pre-submitted comments should be entered before 11:00 a.m. on October 29, 2020.
