If it is after hours, on a weekend or holiday and you need immediate assistance, please call 828-891-7779. If after hours service is contacted to turn off or on your service for a non-leak situation you will be charged a $100.00 after hours fee.

Payment In Person:

City Hall   145 Fifth Avenue E.     Hendersonville, NC          Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. except holidays.

The Water and Sewer Payment windows are located on the first floor of the City Hall.  Customer parking is available in the parking lot behind City Hall at the corner of 6th Ave. and King Street.  Free parking spots for customers are along the King Street edge of the parking lot.

Late Fees for Non-Payment

Customer accounts will be charged late fees if payment is not received by the bill due date. These fees will not be waived unless a technical error or staff error produced a payment processing delay.

Interruption of Service for Non-Payment

Service may be discontinued if payment is not made by the date shown on the bottom portion of your billing statement. If service is cut off, all past due charges, plus a reconnection fee, must be paid to restore service. Payment must be made by 3:00 p.m. to guarantee same-day restoration.

Returned Check Policy

Charges paid by checks returned by the bank will be treated as unpaid and may cause the account to be processed for immediate cut-off. Accounts will also be charged a $25.00 returned check fee.
