Treat Street Carnival

Trick-or-Treat! The monsters, ghosts and goblins will be on parade in downtown Hendersonville this Halloween at the Treat Street Carnival. On Sunday, October 31, family-friendly festivities will take place from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Main Street.
The event, which combines the Friends of Downtown Hendersonville’s Trick or Treat Street, Henderson County’s Halloween Carnival and Hola Community Arts’ Day of the Dead celebration, will include a costume contest, Monster Mash Sound Extreme DJ party, a variety of inflatables as well as performances in the spirit of Día de Los Muertos.
Trick or treating with downtown merchants kicks off at 4 p.m. along Main Street from Allen Street to Sixth Avenue.
The costume contest and Monster Mash will be located in the 100 block in front of the Historic Courthouse, between First and Second avenues along Main Street.
Inflatables can be found in the 200 and 300 block.
Hola Carolina will be in the 100 block between Allen and First Avenue.
Costume contest registration begins at 4 p.m. and judging, which includes age categories for infants to age 3, 4 to 7, 8 to 11, 12 to 15, and 16-plus and family/group contestants will start at 5 p.m., with the pet category first to be judged.
