Brooklyn Community Garden Open House

The Brooklyn Community Garden is hosting a Garden Open House August 20th from 6:30-8p.m. Come out and tour the garden and learn from our garden members and volunteers about organic gardening, pollinators, and more. To attend, please RSVP to Sustainability Manager, Caitlyn Gendusa at cgendusa@hvlnc.gov

There is also a donation drive for the garden during the month of August.

The Brooklyn Community Garden provides a space for community members to cultivate fresh produce, foster environmental sustainability, and build connections with neighbors. Our mission encourages education, health, and community engagement through gardening. As an initiative almost entirely volunteer driven, your support is greatly needed!

Donations will go towards maintaining this special place including garden beds, supplies, and educational materials.
