Mental Health and Substance Abuse Funding Opportunity

Mental Health and Substance Abuse Funding Opportunity

The City of Hendersonville is pleased to open applications to qualifying nonprofit organizations for funding focused on mental health and substance abuse treatment and support services. The funding totals $300,000 and each organization is eligible for a maximum award amount of $50,000. Funding can only be used for programmatic costs and cannot be spent on personnel or routine operating costs.

Programs will be reviewed to determine their relevance to mental health and substance abuse treatment and services. Successful applicants will be required to enter into an agreement on a form provided by the City of Hendersonville. Non-profits will receive funding through invoice reimbursements for services, instead of a single lump-sum payment.

The application period begins on September 1, 2025, at 8:00 AM, and will close on October 15, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

An application link to apply will be available on September 1, 2025, at 8:00 AM.
