Leo Living (Cottages at Hendersonville) Neighborhood Compatibility Meeting Continuation

Tuesday, August 19, 2025

5:30 PM to 7:00 PM

The City of Hendersonville is in receipt of an application for a Conditional Zoning District from Advenir Azora Development LLC to rezone approximately 20.95 acres at 1741 Haywood Road (PIN 9569-22-9206) from R-15 Medium Density Residential to PRD CZD (Planned Residential Development Conditional Zoning District). The proposed development includes 180 two-, three-, and four-family dwelling units

As required, the project is subject to a Neighborhood Compatibility Meeting (NCM) where the applicant, community members, and City staff can discuss the proposed development. The initial NCM was held on June 30, 2025, and was attended by approximately 115 residents in person and 30 virtually via Zoom.

A continuation of this Neighborhood Compatibility Meeting has been scheduled as follows:

Date: August 19, 2025
Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (meeting will conclude after 1.5 hours)
Location: Blue Ridge Community College – Conference Hall
Address: 49 East Campus Drive, Flat Rock, NC

Please note: If using GPS, enter the full address above rather than searching “Blue Ridge Community College” to avoid being directed to the wrong building. Parking is available in Lots C and D.

This continuation meeting will focus on new compatibility concerns only. The Community Development Director will present the Director’s Report, which outlines previously discussed issues and commitments made by the developer. These previously documented topics do not need to be restated.
