The theme of this year’s retreat was “Building a strong foundation for our growing future,” and discussions were held to address City Council goals and priorities.

City Staff discussed resources available to City Council and the public, available financing options and how they work, an overview of key budget financials from last year, a benefits overview, and a general fund model overview on Thursday night. Friday morning Council reviewed their accomplishments over the past couple of years, learned more about growth-related topics from department staff, and discussed ideas for the future.
