Calling all community members who lost trees from Hurricane Helene, now is your chance to rebuild Hendersonville’s tree canopy.
The City of Hendersonville in partnership with the City’s Tree Board is hosting a tree giveaway. 7 gallon pots are available of the following species: Sycamore, Pignut hickory, Redbud, Persimmon, Crabapple, Overcut oak, and Willow oak.
A Tree Board member will be available for a short educational overview on how to pick the right place to plant your tree and other tips for a healthy tree.
