Emergency alerts are sent 24/7 when there is an immediate threat to life and/or property. In addition to emergency alerts, you can also choose to receive customizable community notifications. Hendersonville Water & Sewer is also able to send out alerts based on the information customers provided when they enrolled in water service.

While AlertHVL integrates with the existing Smart911 service in Henderson County, they are two services that each serve a unique purpose. Smart911 provides a safety profile of your information directly to 9-1-1 when you call 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency. AlertHVL will ensure you receive emergency alerts from the City of Hendersonville. Rave Mobile Safety is the vendor for both AlertHVL and Smart911.

The information used to notify customers of Boil Water Advisories and other billing-related alerts is based on the information customers provided when they enrolled in water service. This information can be updated online or by calling Customer Service at (828) 697-3052 Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
