Hendersonville Housing Summit
The City of Hendersonville City Council and the Strategic Housing Plan Steering Committee will be attending the Hendersonville Housing Summit on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Hendersonville High School Auditorium at 1 Bearcat Blvd.
The purpose of this meeting is:
- Unveiling of the City of Hendersonville’s community-driven Strategic Housing Plan
- Overview of the new housing initiatives
- Opportunity to provide input to strengthen collaboration around housing affordability challenges
A quorum of the Council and the Strategic Housing Plan Steering Committee will be present. No action is anticipated.
This meeting replaces the City Council’s regularly scheduled second monthly meeting. It is free and open to non-profit service providers, business representatives, government leaders, developers, lenders, affordable housing advocates, community members, and anyone committed to expanding and improving housing in Henderson County and across Western North Carolina.
