Christmas Tree Recycling + Free Mulch Event

 

WHEN: Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 9am-2pm

WHERE: Jackson Park ball field #6 801 4th Ave East, Hendersonville, NC

 

Don't throw your tree away! Recycle it into nutritious mulch for your garden, plants, and veggies. From now until January 10th, you can drop off your discarded tree and Christmas lights (dropped off separately) at the Jackson Park ball field #6 anytime between 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. On January 10th, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. staff and volunteers will be present, mulching the trees and helping load vehicles with free mulch. This is a great opportunity to recycle your unwanted tree while getting free mulch for your home.
