Sustainability Plan
Milestone timeline:
The City of Hendersonville is working on creating its first Sustainability Strategic Plan. The plan will outline measurable goals integrating environmental, social, and economical values into solutions to reduce our overall impact on the environment while strengthening our communities to ensure we have a prosperous future now, and for generations to come. Our focus areas for the plan include energy, transportation, waste management, land management, and water.
While the Plan is focused on actions for the municipal level, our community plays a vital role. The Plan will provide recommendations for residents and businesses to reduce their own emissions and overall increased sustainability efforts.
Give you input by taking the survey before March 31, 2024.
