Sullivan Park Basketball Court Improvements
The Sullivan Park basketball courts on Ashe Street in Hendersonville are being resurfaced and improved!
The Sullivan Park goals have been removed in preparation for construction that is expected to start on July 28th. The courts will be closed until mid-September to allow the resurfacing project to occur. Stay tuned for updates about the grant and the sponsors making the improvements possible.
The City of Hendersonville’s Public Works Department is managing the rehabilitation of the court’s surface and basketball goals. The court has developed cracks, and the rehabilitation process will include grinding down the old asphalt and replacing it with a new court surface. Updated backboards will also be installed as part of the project.
