Hendersonville’s Historic Inns Open Their Doors for the 2025 Holiday Tour & Cookie Caper

Celebrate the holiday season with a touch of history during the 2025 Holiday Historic Inns Tour & Cookie Caper on Sunday, December 7th, from 1:00-5:00 PM. Sponsored by Hendersonville's Historic Preservation Commission and the Henderson County Tourism Development Authority, this self-driving tour invites participants to explore the charm of historic inns and vacation rentals decorated for the holidays while enjoying unique holiday treats along the way. 

The event offers a unique opportunity to delve into Hendersonville’s rich history. Ticket holders will receive a brochure featuring a map and brief histories of each property, allowing them to design their own route through the area’s historic treasures.

  • Elizabeth Leigh Inn 
  • Osceola Lake Inn 
  • Echo Mountain Inn 
  • Brightwaters Guest House 
  • The Waverly Inn 
  • The Charleston Inn 

“The Historic Preservation Commission is delighted to share Hendersonville’s historic charm during the holiday season, and we’re excited to welcome some new inns to the tour this year,” said Cheryl Jones, Chair of the Historic Preservation Commission. “This celebration is a wonderful reminder of the traditions that make our city feel like home.” 

Proceeds from the event will support the Historic Preservation Commission’s work in preserving the City’s three local historic districts, six local landmarks, and eight districts listed on the National Register of Historic Places, while expanding preservation initiatives throughout the city. 

This event is sponsored by the Hendersonville Historic Preservation Commission in collaboration with the Henderson County Tourism Development Authority.

What: Enjoy sweet treats on a self-driving tour through Hendersonville’s Historic Inns 

How to Participate: Adult tickets are $20 and $10 for children under 18. Tickets can be purchased at the Hendersonville Visitor Information Center, located at 201 South Main Street. 

Tickets are available for purchase starting November 1, and quantities are limited. Sales end on Saturday, December 6.
