Invasive species are dangerous to the environment because they threaten biodiversity and disrupt ecosystems. Recently, the City of Hendersonville completed a stream restoration project for Brooklyn Creek. Since the completion, invasive species are starting to spread and we need your help. Join us and volunteer. To sign up, please RSVP to Sustainability Manager, Caitlyn Gendusa at cgendusa@hvlnc.gov. Remember to bring closed toed shoes, sunscreen, and your reusable water bottle. We look forward to seeing you there!
