Carolina Village Independent Living Building Neighborhood Compatibility Meeting

The City of Hendersonville is in receipt of an application for a Conditional Zoning District from WGLA Engineering, PLLC. on behalf of Carolina Village to rezone approximately 94.35 acres along Carolina Village DR (PINs 9579-18-3554 & 9579-08-2767) from PRD, Planned Residential Development Conditional Zoning District to Urban Village Conditional Zoning District to accommodate a newly proposed 60-unit multi-family independent living residential building on 3 acres of the existing Carolina Village campus.
As required, the project is subject to a Neighborhood Compatibility Meeting (NCM) where the applicant, community members, and City staff can discuss the proposed development.
This Neighborhood Compatibility Meeting has been scheduled as follows:
Date: March 1, 2026
Time: 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (meeting will conclude after 1.5 hours)
Location: City Hall - 2nd Floor Conference Room
Address: 160 6th Ave E
The meeting will focus on compatibility concerns only.
