Downtown businesses are giving back and supporting local nonprofits with support from YOU on Saturday, September 5.

Businesses throughout Historic Downtown Hendersonville will be giving back to local nonprofits through percentage of sales and other promotions. Businesses were encouraged to support local nonprofits and downtown neighbors impacted by recent shutdowns and closures.

- Silver Fox Gallery & Team ECCO Aquarium & Shark Lab
- Vintage Photo Scan & Arts Council of Henderson County
- The Cheerful Word & Thrive
- Homestead Linens & Big Brothers Big Sisters of WNC
- Rotary Hendersonville NC will be set up near Wag! A Unique Pet Boutique to support the CART fund (Coins for Alzheimer's Research Trust)
- Mast General Store will be doing a roundup day for Habitat for Humanity
- Moonshine & Magnolias Donating 5% of Net Sales to Hands On Children's Museum-WNC on Sept 5th (Also - Free with purchase Custom Fall Inspired Prints for the first 30 customers!)
- Black Bear Coffee Co. & Hands On Children's Museum-WNC
- Brandy's on Main & Hands On Children's Museum-WNC
- Kiwanis Club of Hendersonville will kick off its centennial year by giving out “pancake breakfast to-go” Kiwanis Club members will give away preassembled bags at the Hendersonville Farmers Market and in the 400 block of Main Street near Postero.

LoveHendo - Shop Local Saturdays offer provide open-air activity on Main Street the First Saturday of each month.

Main Street will be closed to vehicles all day on the First Saturday of each month from 2nd Avenue to 6th Avenue. The cross streets will remain open to traverse to the unique avenue businesses and the abundant downtown parking available just a short walk from Main Street. The spaces on Main immediately in front of the Historic Henderson County Courthouse are reserved for handicap parking.

Many downtown businesses have expanded outdoor activities planned for the LoveHendo – Shop Local Saturday on August 1, including:
• The Hendersonville Family YMCA will host free yoga on the 400 block at 8:30 am (Bring your own Mat!)
• Sit Step Sing Senior Fitness on the 400 block at 10:30am - https://www.sitstepsing.com/ (Bring your own CHAIR!)
• Team ECCO Shark Lab will host afternoon activities from 11:30-2:30 on the 500 block, including photos with characters, invertebrate tanks, bubbles, etc.
• Cool off with outdoor sprinklers and additional outdoor seating
• Mast General Store Sidewalk Sale
