Request a Copy of a Report:

Incident Reports

• Send your request to policerecords@hvlnc.gov. If possible, include the report number and a phone number. A Records Specialist will contact you if there are any questions regarding the incident report. You will receive the incident report via email once it is available.
• Call (828) 697-3036 to connect with a Records Specialist who can help you obtain the incident report by email.
• Incident reports can be picked up during regular business hours at the Hendersonville Police Department, which is located at 630 Ashe Street, Hendersonville, NC, 28792.

Crash Reports

• To obtain an uncertified copy of a Crash Report, please visit the Crash Report(opens in a new tab) website where you can print a PDF of the accident report. The report will be accessible on this site once it has been approved by the DMV.
• Email your request to policerecords@hvlnc.gov and include the Local Use ID, if available, or the date, time, and location of the accident. A records specialist will email you an uncertified copy of the report once it has been approved by the DMV.
• Call (828) 697-3036 and ask a Records Specialist to email you an uncertified copy of the accident report. 
• Uncertified Crash Reports can be picked up during regular business hours at the Hendersonville Police Department, which is located at 630 Ashe Street, Hendersonville, NC, 28792.
• To receive a certified copy of an accident report, please contact the NC DMV(opens in a new tab) to request that a certified copy be sent to you.
