The Public Services Department is responsible for Parks & Greenspace, Building Maintenance, Environmental Services, Engineering, Stormwater, Sustainability, Fleet, and Water & Sewer.
This division is responsible for maintaining public grounds, parks, and the cemetery along with the beautification of downtown Hendersonville and Seventh Avenue Historical District
Building Maintenance
This division is responsible for maintaining City buildings.
This division is responsible for garbage, recycling, and brush collection. In addition, snow and ice removal are completed along with removal of dead animals within the street right of way.
This department is responsible for construction and inspection, GIS, civil design, development projects, maintaining streets, traffic signals, and lights.
This department is responsible for ensuring that stormwater is effectively controlled in order to reduce pollution generated from stormwater runoff within the City of Hendersonville.
