Take the Walk Hendo Survey

Project Background:

Hendersonville is underway with an effort to update their Pedestrian Plan that will identify the community’s vision, strategies, goals, and recommended actions for creating safe places to walk. The project began in spring 2022 and is expected to be completed in late summer/early fall 2023.

Meeting Purpose:

On May 2, and throughout the month of May, the City will be hosting community engagement activities. A drop-in style public meeting will be hosted on May 2 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, where anyone can share their thoughts about the proposed set of sidewalk, path and greenway projects. An online survey will be launched that day and will run throughout May to collect similar feedback.

Who Is this Meeting For?

The meeting and survey are for anyone who lives, works, or visits Hendersonville.

What Will We Do With This Information?

Your input will be used to create the Walk Hendo Pedestrian Plan. Once the Plan is adopted, the City and NCDOT can use it to direct how we build projects, make policy choices, build programs and events, and apply for new types of funding.
