Balloon Festival 2021

The first annual Balloon Festival to support the Aquarium & Shark Lab. Visit the Historic Courthouse and watch as 8 highly skilled balloon artists create a 6-8 foot tall pirate ship, complete with crew and hundreds of sea animals! On Saturday, May 8, there will be a Sea Creature Swim, full of costumed characters and fun, walking down Main Street from the Aquarium to the balloon build at approximately 12 noon. After the swim, we will fully unveil the ship! This event is done thru the creativity of 8 NC balloon artists for the conservation education.
