Neighborhood Compatibility Meeting - The Cedars (electronic)

Tuesday, May 26, 2020

The City is in receipt of an application from Tamara Peacock Co Architects for the development of a hotel and condominium containing 132 hotel rooms and 72 residential units on approximately 2.3 acres. The project is proposed to be located on 7th Ave W between N Church and Buncombe Streets.

The neighborhood compatibility meeting is the first step in a three-step process. It is a chance for affected property owners to learn more about the project, give input, and ask questions on points that remain unclear. The site plan is subject to recommendation by the Planning Board and approval by City Council. The concept site plan is available at www.publicinput.com/hvlmeeting.

This neighborhood compatibility meeting will be accesible by the public through Zoom, Facebook live, and telephone. Participation instructions to watch/listen to the meeting virtually and submit comments during the meeting are available at www.publicinput.com/hvlmeeting.

Comments may be submitted in advance here and will be addressed by the developer at the meeting. Advance comments must be submitted by 11 am on Tuesday, May 26 to be considered part of the official record. Individuals who are unable to submit their comments online may email their comment to Daniel Heyman at dheyman@hvlnc.gov or call the Development Assistance Department at (828) 697-3010 to submit.
