The Hendersonville Police Department participates in Project ChildSafe – a firearms safety program that provides education and free cable gun locks to the public to help secure their firearms.

The public can also visit the Hendersonville Police Department Records Window at City Hall during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) to pick up a Project ChildSafe safety kit including a cable gun lock, free of charge.
