in Hendersonville, NC. Shoppers who visit are met by the owner, Bob Fisher, who is the sole operator of the shop. Bob, a Graduate Gemologist (GIA), does all the repairs and custom jewelry work himself and takes pride in friendly one on one interaction with his customers.
All work done is of superb quality and craftsmanship with minute attention to detail. The shop has a variety of stock on hand in all price ranges, and can order other items at any time, usually with a short delivery.

We are located in a beautiful historical building directly on Main Street in downtown Hendersonville, tucked right in between and above McFarlan's Bakery and Flat Rock Ciderworks. The nature of this historical building means that there is a brief flight of stairs, but there are guard rails on either side, should you need the assistance. When you arrive, simply ring the doorbell and we will buzz you in! There is ample paid parking all around downtown, but if you would prefer, there is a parking garage on 4th and Church Street.

The Resale Store re-sells donated items, such as clothing, small household items and furniture. In the last fiscal year, the store generated over $190,000, which was used entirely to help finance programs and basic needs for survivors of interpersonal violence, and their children, on the local level. The success of this fund-raising effort is due to the large numbers of hours worked by store volunteers and the generosity of the community at large.
All proceeds from the thrift store go to support Safelight's efforts to provide education about this issue and to serve the survivors of interpersonal violence in Henderson County.

A safe place to rest, heal, and gain support. You are provided with all your basic needs while in shelter which includes food, clothing, and toiletries. Our staff are present 24/7 to answer our hotline, provide support, and ensure that you are always receiving support. Our facility is 40-beds with additional space for cribs/bassinets. While residing in our safe shelter, you access all our programs at Safelight. We provide weekly case management and work hard to make sure you are referred to our amazing community partners so that all your needs can be met.
