City of Hendersonville Holiday Street Closures 

Please plan ahead for the following seasonal events and temporary street closures in Downtown Hendersonville: 


 
Thursday, November 27 – Turkey Trot 5K race 

  • Main Street closed from 4th Avenue to 6th Avenue from 6:00 AM to after race clean-up 
  • 5th Avenue closed on the East and West sides of Main Street 
  • Full closure of Church Street from approximately 8:15 AM to 10:15 AM with detour guiding southbound traffic to Grove Street 
  • No parking after 6:00 AM on Main Street 

 

Friday, November 28 – Holiday Tree Lighting 

  • Main Street closed from 1st to 2nd Avenue 
  • No parking after 3:00 PM on Main Street 

 

Saturday, December 6 – Hendersonville Farmers Market – Holiday Market 

  • Maple Street will be closed from 7th Avenue to the overpass. 
  • No on-street parking on Maple after 7:00 AM. 

 

Saturday, December 6 – Christmas Parade 

  • Main Street closed from 5 Points to Kanuga/Caswell for the parade 
  • Detour begins around 5:30 PM with 
  • Southbound traffic on Asheville Hwy (US-25) being diverted to Fleming St for Hwy 64 W and Church St connections. 
  • Commercial trucks on 4 Seasons Blvd (US-64) being redirected via Duncan Hill to Asheville Hwy. 
  • No parking after 3:00 PM on Main Street
