HENDERSONVILLE, NC, September 11, 2025 – The Rhythm & Brews concert series, presented by Horizon Heating & Air, continues its 2025 season with a performance on South Main Street in downtown Hendersonville on Thursday, September 18. The evening will feature Kaitlin Krisko & The Broadcast as the headlining act, with Hustle Souls opening the show. 

Now in full swing, Rhythm & Brews takes place on the third Thursday of each month from June through October. The series transforms downtown Hendersonville into a vibrant outdoor music venue, offering free, family-friendly concerts that highlight regional and local talent. Attendees can also enjoy food trucks, locally crafted beverages, and activities designed for all ages.

Headliner: Known for her soaring vocal performances, Caitlin Krisko and The Broadcast is a powerhouse soul rock band hailing from Asheville, North Carolina. Krisko's electrified and unforgettable performances led to her working with members of Tedeschi Trucks Band and David Bowie's Blackstar Band on the band’s studio album Lost My Sight. Krisko captivates her audiences, bringing the perfect blend of power and vulnerability throughout her shows. With a mix of soul rock arrangements with dashes of blues and pop, Caitlin Krisko and The Broadcast has shared stages with Mavis Staples, the late Charles Bradley, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Marcus King, The String Cheese Incident, Bettye Layette, and Gregg Allman’s Buffalo Mountain Jam among others.                 

Opening Act: Hustle Souls, masterfully blends Retro-Soul, Brass Band Funk, and Singer-Songwriter Americana into a unique and captivating sound. Lauded by American Blues Scene as a "generation-jumping mashup of new school second line funk with old school vintage soul," and described by Bluestown Music as “intimate soul…with a Curtis Mayfield like warmth,” the band has earned a spot as one of Music Connection Magazine’s “Hot 100 Live Unsigned Artists & Bands.” Overflowing with energy and spontaneity, Hustle Souls features roaring B3 organ and jubilant brass, balanced with three-part vocal harmonies and a passion for songwriting. 

Opening acts will kick off each evening at 5:30 p.m. followed by the headliner performance from around 7:30-9:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. 

For the little ones, the Hendersonville Honeycrisps and Hendersonville Toy Company present a Kid Zone filled with family-friendly fun. Adults can enjoy the event’s fully integrated craft beverage garden featuring offerings from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. (including non-alcoholic options), Bold Rock Cider, Guidon Brewing Co., Oklawaha Brewing Co., Dry Falls Brewery, Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards, and Flat Rock Cider Company.  

Please leave your pets and coolers at home. Chairs are allowed on the Wells Fargo side of the event near the Kids Zone. There are several free and paid parking options available near the show, with the closest paid parking in the private lot at Barnwell and Main (access only from King Street), and free on-street parking outside of Church and King Streets.  

All net proceeds from adult beverage sales will benefit the Friends of Downtown Hendersonville 501c3 nonprofit, whose mission is to identify, preserve and enhance the key factors that contribute to the authentic small town urban character of historic downtown Hendersonville.
