Hawthorne Hendersonville Neighborhood Compatibility Meeting

Projects subject to conditional rezoning must undergo a neighborhood compatibility meeting at which the developer and affected property owners and residents can participate in a discussion about the proposed rezoning.

The City of Hendersonville Community Development Department will hold a Neighborhood Compatibility Meeting on the Hawthorne Hendersonville project at the City Operations Center located at 305 Williams Street Hendersonville, NC.

The City of Hendersonville is in receipt of an application for a conditional rezoning from Warren Sugg of Civil Design Concepts and Hawthorne Development.  The applicants are requesting to rezone the subject property, PIN 9569-22-9206 and located on Haywood Road, from R-15 Medium Density Residential to  PRD CZD, Planned Residential Development Conditional Zoning District for the construction of a multi-family residential development containing 263 dwelling units on approximately 20.95 acres.

  • To provide a written public comment before the meeting, fill out the public comment online form.
    Pre-submitted comments must be provided by 9:00am on the day of the meeting or 8:00 am the day before the meeting if they contain photos or video. Additional details on virtual meeting participation are available at https://www.hendersonvillenc.gov/comment
