Apple Ridge Neighborhood Compatibility Meeting

Projects subject to conditional rezoning must undergo a neighborhood compatibility meeting at which the developer and affected property owners and residents can participate in a discussion about the proposed rezoning.

The City of Hendersonville Community Development Department will hold a Neighborhood Compatibility Meeting for the Apple Ridge Project at the City Operations Center located at 305 Williams Street Hendersonville, NC.

The City of Hendersonville is in receipt of an application for a conditional rezoning from Ashlynn McCoy from the Housing Assistance Corporation (applicant) and Thomas and Sherry Thompson (property owners).  The applicant is requesting to rezone the subject property, PINs:9579-75-3259 and 9579-64-6536 and located at the 780 Sugarloaf Drive and 524 E. Prince Road, from R-15, Medium Density Residential to PRD CZD, Planned Residential Development Conditional Zoning District in order to construct 60 multi-family units and 20 single family units on approximately 18.68 acres.
