National Night Out

The Hendersonville Police Department is excited to announce the return of National Night Out, with a special theme for 2025: The Power of Community. Join us on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Highlands Square Shopping Plaza, located at 250 Highlands Square Drive, for an evening of fun for the entire family.
“Building trust in the community is a high priority for us,” states Police Chief Blair Myhand. “While last year's event was canceled due to Hurricane Helene, we’re aiming to make this year our largest and most meaningful celebration yet.”
Parking is available just beyond and around the event space.
Free Food and Fun for All Ages
Community members will see and interact with a variety of emergency equipment displays from the Hendersonville Police and Fire Departments, in combination with trucks from Hendersonville Public Works and Water & Sewer. Additional agencies serving Hendersonville and Henderson County will be there as well offering kids the opportunity to check out law enforcement and rescue vehicles and equipment.
Enjoy free food and Pelican’s SnoBalls, a bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, face painting, free raffle, games, prizes, and more! Don’t miss the chance to win prizes and be sure to visit the Ellaberry Farm Llamas, back by popular demand!
Strengthen Police-Community Partnerships
National Night Out is a national initiative that fosters and strengthens police-community partnerships. It encourages open dialogue, trust, and a sense of unity among residents and the officers that serve them.
