The 2nd Annual Hendersonville Triathlon, presented by Hunter Subaru, is set for Sunday, June 27, 2021 in Hendersonville, NC at Patton Park. The City of Hendersonville and the YMCA of Hendersonville have welcomed the race back to city limits and we are so excited to offer this race again for our multisport community.

The race will implement time trial starts with a long duration between each participant. We will have limited participation numbers due to being in a pandemic.

The Hendersonville Triathlon will take place in Patton Park! Patton Pool is operated by the YMCA of Western North Carolina in Hendersonville and they have a 50 meter, Olympic size pool for our swim! The park is operated by the City of Hendersonville and portions of the run will utilize the Oklawaha Greenway. The bike course will be on rural, rolling and moderately hilly on country roads.

The in-person race will follow all CDC and NC guidelines regarding events and gatherings. When participants register they will give their estimated swim time and then will be seeded accordingly with a start time. Participants will have a COVID and temperature screening prior to racing. All participants must wear masks before and after racing and anytime they are within 6 feet of another person. For all our COVID safety protocols for our events please visit idaph.net.
