DETAILS: This is a drive thru trunk or treat event. The route will bring traffic off of 64 into the Methodist Church parking lot to stage before crossing Buncombe into the Baptist Church Parking lot, and then using a lane of 5^th to move into another parking lot. The event itself is in the old post office parking lot and partially at the crosswalk of Buncombe. The event takes place from 5pm to 8pm.

CLOSURE: Close Buncombe Street between 5^th and 6^th Ave from 4PM until 8:30PM; During the same time frame close the northern most lane of 5^th Ave from Buncombe to parking lot at 427 5^th Ave W to facilitate flow of traffic from one parking lot to another (see attached). Both directions of traffic should be able to travel on 5^th.

POLICE:

Three off duty officers requested and hopefully can assist with street closure/traffic control

PUBLIC WORKS:

Combination of cones (for closing the lane on 5^th) and barricades (for Buncombe closure) for street closure – Public works will bring 30 cones and PD will supplement.

No parking after 2pm signs in closure areas   (NOTE -this was not discussed in our meeting but this was requested in 2021)
