The City of Hendersonville is pleased to offer multiple payment options for customers interested in using their credit card, debit card or checking account to pay their bill online or to use our new pay-by-phone option. Both options are administered by Paymentus Corporation, a third-party automated payment service that accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and electronic check. You can pay from wherever you are 24/7 by calling the City of Hendersonville automated customer service line at 828-697-3052 or through our online portal. Customers also have the option of paying via bank draft from a checking account.
Payments made via credit card, debit card, electronic check or by phone will be posted to your account on the next business day. If your service has been disconnected or is due to be disconnected you will need to speak to a customer service representative who will determine the amount you need to pay to restore or maintain your service.
To utilize the online payment or pay-by-phone systems please make sure you have the following information on hand.
- Your bill number located on your billing statement
- Credit or debit card or checking account information
For Utility Bills-
- Your account number and your customer ID number (both located on your billing statement)
- Credit card, debit card or checking account information
- Valid E-mail address for confirmation receipt (on-line payment only)
PLEASE NOTE- For utility bills, there will be a $2.95 per $300 charge for credit/debit card payments or e-check, by the third party credit/debit card processor (not the City) to use the online or pay-by-phone option. This is a convenience fee collected for and by Paymentus Corporation. For tax bills, A service fee of 2.75% of the total payment amount will apply. This fee will also be collected for and by Paymentus Corporation.
