Pollinator-Friendly Plant Sale Fundraiser

bee city logoIn lieu of all the in-person fundraising events, we’d originally planned to support the “Bring the Hive Alive!” initiative to paint a bee mural in downtown Hendersonville, a pollinator-friendly plant sale with online orders/payments and contact-free curbside plant pick-up locations is now underway.  Flowers, vines, trees/shrubs as well as some special add-on items including pollinator notecards, local honey, native bee cabins, bee mural donor rewards packages, etc. are offered. You’ll find pollinator garden favorites as well as species not often sold at nurseries. Unless otherwise noted, 100% of plant sale proceeds (minus credit card processing fees) will go to fund the mural to be located on the exterior wall of the Hands On! Children’s Museum in the heart of downtown HVL.

Step 1:  Pick your plants! Make your selections (and choose your pick-up location and payment method) using the handy plant sale availability list / order form.  Within 24 hours of submitting the form, a Hendersonville Bee City USA “Pollenteer” will respond to confirm your order.

Step 2:  Pay for your plants.  Go to the "Bring the Hive Alive!" online donations page and donate the amount equal to the value of the plants/items you pre-ordered.  If you prefer, we can also accept cash (exact change, please) or a check (made to Hands On!) when you pick up your plants.

Step 3: Pick up your plants.  Plant your plants.  Feed the pollinators and enjoy!
