The City of Hendersonville uses a notification system, Regroup, to inform residents, businesses owners, and visitors of emergencies, non-emergency updates and local government information.
Individuals can choose how they want messages delivered (email, text, phone call, or a combination). Please sign up below for each category that is important to you. A further explanation of each category is available below.
- Emergency Alerts - Alerts may include information about disasters, evacuation notices, missing person alerts, road closures, hazardous material spills and other issues that require immediate attention
- Street Closures - Notices of street closings due to weather, public works projects, utility work, and special event road closures
- City Notifications - Notices of office closures, city projects, upcoming events, and altered trash/recycling/yard waste pick-up schedules
- Public Safety Notices - Public safety information and reminders provided by the Hendersonville Fire Department and Hendersonville Police Department - can include topics such as scam alerts, crime prevention tips, fire safety and emergency preparedness information
Hendersonville Water and Sewer also utilizes Regroup to provide water customers with boil water advisories and other notifications impacting their water service. Water alerts are sent to the contact information listed on customers' utility bill.
